If you are interested in mediation and want more details, you can contact me directly.
To maintain absolute neutrality, I won't be asking for any details about the dispute until you and the other relevant participants have all agreed to a mediation. I will need from you the contact details of the other participants so that I can check that they are willing and comfortable to join a mediation.
I will email a standard letter to everyone with introductory information (much the same as on the website) and with a brief questionnaire asking for your contact details. I'll follow up with an introductory phone call.
It often helps build confidence when we meet up for a free 10 minute online consultation. This can be with you directly, or with a friend / advisor.
I will send you the Agreement to Mediate to sign, and ask for a very brief written outline of the matter in hand. It might help to send me essential documents, pictures or diagrams. As mediation is not a process where I make legal determination, it is not neccesary or appropriate to send me bundles of correspondence or emails. The mediation process, when we are together, will draw out the information we all need to help build a resolution.
When everyone has signed the Agreement to Mediate, we will fix a date and time for the mediation. I will also set up a systems test with everyone, just to check that everyone is able to use the zoom link, and that cameras and microphones are properly operational.
